Kogeki means "attack" in Japanese - seemed appropriate since these are intended for attacking your favorite corners, whether they're on a track or your favorite backroad.

These flow formed wheels are exclusive to Flyin' Miata and built for us by a major wheel manufacturer. They're high-pressure cast for less porosity, then the rim is spun-forged. They were designed specifically for the NA/NB Miata to ensure clearance for all FM and stock brake setups and for the perfect fit under the fenders. Because we know they'll be used hard, they're rated for 550kg (1213 lbs) of load instead of the more standard 500 kg (using J2530 JWL standards). They also have knurling to prevent tire slip.

And seriously, just look at them. Yummy.

You can fit a 225/45-15 on a 9" wheel under unmodified NB fenders, although NA fenders will require a roll. The 9" wheels won't fit with stock diameter springs (such as the FM springs), but they will fit with a 2.5" or smaller spring (such as the Fox or V-Maxx). The 8" wheels will fit fine with stock-format springs, will fit either a 205/50-15 or a 225/45-15, and will fit NAs and NBs with no fender modifications. Obviously, the use of wheel spacers will affect this fitment.

Centering rings aren't required, as the wheel will center on the taper of the lug nuts, but centering rings do make installation a tick easier.

You can use stock lug nuts and chrome sockets, but it's close - 21mm impact sockets probably won't clear, 19mm impact sockets (as used with our 19mm lug nuts) probably will, but be careful. Chrome 19mm sockets should have plenty of room.

If you choose to upgrade your wheel studs (recommended if spacers are used or if the car will see extreme use), the 1990-93 NA6 uses 0.507" studs on all four corners. Other NAs and NBs use 0.579" on the rear and 0.507" on the front.

Note that wheels are sold individually, so make sure you order 4.

    15x8: 12.4 lbs, +36 offset, 67.1 mm hub bore

    15x9: 13.45 lbs, +36 offset, 67.1 mm hub bore

We recommend that any wheel used on the track be inspected regularly for cracks and fatigue as part of proper maintenance.

    1. Great Looking Wheels
I put a set of 15 X 8 Gunmetal on our 2004 Mazdaspeed Velocity Red MX-5. They look great although I would have preferred a lighter silver option. (That's a hint, FM!) Rims have a serrated inner band to prevent tire slip, probably not a must have for a Miata unless you stuff one of those LS motors in! A well made attractive option with no fitment issues. Thanks FM!

    2. Gorgeous Wheels
Such beautiful wheels. I got the bronze finish which should look great with my Crystal Blue Metallic paint and red Wilwood calipers.

    3. Lower offset coming?
Hello a little birdy told me that I needed to make some noise for alternate sizes. Are there possibly coming different offsets available? Like +0 for the 15x8 or +10 for the 15x9 so they’ll fit nicely under my +30mm overfenders

Note from FM: Usually we only publish reviews that are reviews, requests are best sent to our support team. But in case anyone else is wondering - maybe. We are looking at expanding the range of sizes. Fitments that do not actually fit the Miata without significant modifications are a lower priority. We are not planning a +0 or +10 at this time but that may change in the future.

    4. Make a 15x6 ET33 for us autocrossers?
What do you say? 15x6 with a 33 offset.. would make a lot of Autocrossers happy!
