- Probably the best aftermarket corner lights available
I have the smoked lenses, and they are as bright or brighter than stock. The stock lights are a terrible design to begin with, without an actual reflector in the lens. The connector that goes into the bulb socket works regardless of polarity, which indicates a well-designed board. As another review said, it is a little difficult to get the bulb socket twisted into the back of the housing, but you only have to do it once per light, and I'd rather have tight to keep water out than too loose. The front lens sits flush just like stock. The rear edge of the rear lens sits just a hair shallow, but better than sticking out, and better than the aftermarket smoked lenses I had previously.

The trick to making the most of this awesome lighting upgrade for the NB is to source an NA rear side marker wiring harness. The NAs have lighted rear side markers and the NBs don't. I got the wiring from Tom at PartsGroup.com (love those people...) for like $25 and did some surgery to it so I could vampire tap into the existing tail light power. The fronts were super easy... I just took the front tires off (probably didn't need to) so I could remove the lower fender well liner which made the fronts super easy to install. I had a little bit of difficulty getting the bulb sockets properly seated into the new housing; I had to push quite hard while turning to lock them down. Other than that it was one of those projects that I like; doesn't cost much and is fairly easy to do and yields stunning results. Very happy with the purchase. Thank you Flyin Miata for doing the R&D on this product.
- Modern look for a classic car
I love these lights. One of the things I try to do with my NA Miata is make it look more modern and I have to say these lights are probably the best modification to make the car look more modern. I also like that it gets rid of the stock orange and red reflectors; they are such an eyesore. I upgraded to these lights as a "two birds with one stone" approach to fixing my non functional right front marker light. After I realized that it was the 26 year old bulb connector that was causing my issues I decided to cut the connectors off and install some 2 pin weatherproof connectors instead. I made some plastic "donuts" to stick the wires through and siliconed them to the marker light housings to provide a weather tight seal for the circuit board inside. Now that I solved that problem, I can't say enough good things about this product. Just not a huge fan of the connectors. I understand the idea of plug and play, but sometimes restoration needs to be done first.
- Bad plugin connector design
The lights work, they're very bright, even over the smoked housing.
What I don't like about them is the connector, they're designed to be an easy swap, you disconnect the original bulb, and instead you plug in the male connector. The problem with that is that the connector is thinner than the stock insert making have a loose fit. With road vibrations my position lights flicker on and off.
