    I purchased the vmaxx classic’s to replace my worn out factory suspension. Very impressed with the increase in suspension travel. Ride comfort is much better than factory even though the car is now lowered. Handles very well in the corners as well. Highly recommend!

    I've had the classics on my NA for a couple of years, and have had nothing but problems with them. They ride okay for the money, but other than that, I honestly wouldn't buy V-MAXX again. Within 1 year, the zinc plating failed, and the shock bodies are completely covered in rust. The shock shaft threads are fine thread, so one has stripped (capture nuts are a dumb way to go). Spring quality is not great as one of my springs has compressed further than the others and have had to reset my ride height several times. The helper spring seats did not come anodized aluminum like the photo shows, and instead came with a poly seat. These created slop allowing all four main springs to rub the shock body after ~5k miles.
    Since day one, I've had a loud knock in the coilovers over something small like road seams; assembled them as per FM's instructions. Tracked it down with chassis ears to noise inside the shock. Had help from FM initially, then their communication dropped. Just have tried to ignore the noise ever since.

    Spend a little extra money on coilovers, almost everything else on the market is better designed for a little bit more money, and won't be made in a no-name Chinese factory.

    Great product for lowering your car with a ride that is suitable for daily driving. On a bare bones 1990, the car shows it's age and light weight on bumpy roads, but the car is still fairly compliant, though definitely not stock like.

    Would prefer a pre-assembled option as those rubber washers can be a bit of a pain, but the instructions are fairly clear.

    The instructions starting spring perch height of 9 and 5 inches respectively, set my car to roughly 13" f & r. So need to go a bit lower. But all in all, it's a great suspension and I appreciate the one piece shock as adjustable shock bodies, in the past, have proven to lose their luster once you put them on the car.

    I've had the FM VMaxx Coilovers with FM Sway Bars on 2 different cars now...... and for about 3 years. I'm very happy with this suspension. I've got it set up fairly low, which I prefer, and it looks and rides great. Mine is a daily driver, but I put it through its paces on the roundabouts as often as I can. Each day I drive it to work, I push the car to the point where I'm clenching my teeth in anticipation of slippage, but it stays flat and neutral (my BFG's help too!)..... makes for a very exhilarating ride to work! all in all, great value for the money.

    I have had V-maxx Classic coil overs on my 94 for about one month now. I'm glad I bought them. They handle rough roads well, and when it is time for the top to come down and to hit the back road curves the V-maxx set up and the upper mounts show BIG improvement. It gives you confidence in every corner. When the fun is over the ride is definitely not harsh. Very good suspension for a upgrade from stock. For a daily driving car I feel like I got the best of affordability and functionality. Next step a turbo from my favorite Miata people.

    These coilovers are great for Daily Driving. Very comfortable for how low I am. They also handle extremely well in the corners and are a huge improvement from the stock suspension. The only things I didn't like is having to assemble the coilovers when you receive them which is kinda hard if you don't have someone to help you, and the rear adjustable collar rubbed against my axle but now they have the offset bushings so it's not a problem anymore. Overall pretty happy with the coilovers, would definitely recommend!
