Awesome addition to the wheels
I put the brake kit on my 2007 and it looks fantastic. The stock brakes functioned fine, but had zero appeal from an aesthetics perspective. They really stand out so I get a lot of compliments on them and, coupled with brand new rotors, the car wheels look terrific. I only have standard pads on them, but only drive in town, not at the track, so don't notice a difference in terms of performance, but then... I didn't get them for performance... I wanted the car to look awesome... and it does :)

Good but not great.
Just installed the 4-piston LBBK on my 2010 NC. It might be because they are still wearing in but I don't find the stopping power to be any better than the stock brakes so far. I was expecting them to be much more sensitive than stock. FM's instructions were OK but we found a couple of typos and there were definitely some places where a few more pictures would have been helpful. We called them a couple of times for questions and they had the answers right away so tech support was good. FM also did a great job though of labeling all the parts so it was nice and easy to identify what everything was. If you don't want to spend $3600 for a full Wilwood BBK then I think this kit is probably a nice value though. I might have gone with the 6 piston if money had allowed.

Note from FM: Full stopping power will not be achieved until the brakes have been through the bedding process.

Very nice brakes
OK, so after the shocks went in, the theory was I would do the brakes when pad wear started showing. This was the most vain of my mods as I was happy with factory brakes but realized they would look like crap with bitchin wheels, which I REALLY wanted to do. In terms of braking they are silky compared to stock. It also helped that they are comprehensively about a pound lighter per wheel, and I definitely wanted to shed all the unsprung weight I could. And of course they are shockingly handsome.

Bought them for the look but love the preformance
Great improvement over the stock brakes. I admit a lot of the motivation for this purchase was the look of a set of Wilwoods peeking out from the PFO1's. I have a Copper red 06 so I went with the black calipers for the contrast and they look great. What really surprised me though was the improvement in stopping distance and the smoothness of max braking effort stops. The car just comes to a stop no drama from any speed. Well worth the cost.

I feel really good about this purchase.I need to make frequent stop and slowdowns to smoke a cigarette without messing up my hair cost me 2 hours every morning and avoid other Californian/Volvo drivers..The stock calipers won’t do the job anymore then pro
