Excellent parts that work
One of the best mods I’ve made to my car. This keeps my car 10 degrees cooler regiardless of weather conditions. I live in Florida and it gets over 90 degrees a lot. Without it on my supercharged NB the temp would get as high as 215 if I stood still for a few minutes. Now it stays at 203 under the same conditions. It is a very high quality part also. You will need a VERY thin wrench or grind one down to tighten one of the housing bolts. I highly recommend this reroute

A must have
A must have for any forced induction car, this helps keep the rear two cylinders cool. It also helps cool down the car faster

may not fit with Mishimoto style dual core radiators
Kit shipped with incorrect/missing mouting hardware for installing while engine is installed in car. If you are installing this part with the engine outside of the car, (you should definitely do this, because it is a nightmare getting behind the head) the hardware may work. I had to purchase some machine hex style screws to secure the new rear thermostat housing to the head. A friend of mine purchased the same kit from SuperMiata and it came with the required mounting hardware.

I would suggest getting some gaskets rather than using the provided RTV as well, as there is not very much room to work behind the head.

This kit may also require modification if you have a Misimoto style, thick dual core radiator. My car has a 1.8 swap so that may also have been cause of fitment issues. Flying Miata was very helpful in telling me the only solution would have been to buy their $$$ radiator. I was able to make this kit by modifying a silicone upper radiator hose and joining it with the included long reroute hose.

Overall the kit is a good product, just know it may not be the most plug and play kit which was disappointing especially for the price. Once installed and bled, working as expected. Have had several track days on it and it has never leaked or overheated.

No issues.
Beautiful product. This was initially mailed without the required hardware, but a quick call to FM got this issue sorted out. No issues, intalled without issue and performs as expected. Perhaps I should have gone with the lower temperature thermostat since 195 is somewhat close to the 200s. That being said the car has not overheated.

Jack up that transmission
If you're installing this with the engine in the car, do yourself a favor and take the time to remove the three front PPF bolts and jack up the transmission a bit so that the engine tilts and gives you a little more room to work back there. The first time I did it, I think I took too long struggling to get the piece fitted after applying the RTV that I was left with a leak. The second time, I jacked it up and it was much easier both to get the EGR tube out of the way and tighten the lower nut.
