Unfortunately, these shocks are no longer available. We recommend the FM-valved Koni Sport instead.
Mazda`s usually pretty good at setting up suspensions. But for some reason, they got it really wrong with the NC Miatas - especially the earliest 2006-08 ones. There just isn`t enough damping to control the car properly. This is true for the base model as well as the Sport suspension.Of course, we have a solution for you!
The Tokico HTS is a big hit in Japan, and we can see why. Both compression and rebound adjust together and there are no "clicks", just a smooth change so you can dial them in perfectly. They don`t make the car sit any lower but they smooth out the road while providing some well-needed body control. They're suitable for use with our FM springs but also work well with the stock ones. In fact, if you're only going to change one thing on the suspension of your 2006-08 Miata, this should be it.
As used in our Stage 1 and Stage 2 suspension kits, and raced in the Targa Newfoundland.
