There's a new Stage 2 that's more powerful and uses brushless motors. So, to clear out inventory, we've dropped the price of the current Stage 2 down to Stage 1 levels. While supplies last!

We've spent a lot of time testing cooling systems on our dyno, and this is one of the spinoffs.
Read our testing results

We started with a laser-cut aluminum shroud to maximize efficiency of the fans. It ensures that all the air gets pulled through the radiator - and we mounted the shroud far enough away from the radiator to make sure the whole core gets air. Some of the shrouds on the market are far too close to the rad, meaning that only about half of the core gets airflow. We also added some flaps that allow air to bypass the shroud at high speed without affecting the draw of the fans. The shroud is made with threaded inserts to make life easier and comes with spacers to ensure proper standoff from the core.

A pair of Spal fans were chosen not only for their flow, but their ability to pull air through a stack of heat exchangers such as an intercooler and A/C condenser. Most fans are rated for their flow at 0 pressure and their performance drops off rapidly as they have to work harder. Not these! They're also low-profile enough to clear most intercooler piping.  The end result is a compact package that does an excellent job of cooling high-power Miatas. They're not slim-line fans and pull a fair bit of power - but that's because they have the torque to get the job done.
There are other fan/shroud combinations on the market, but none of them have the same dyno-proven ability to pull large amounts of air through your radiator - and A/C condenser and intercooler, if applicable. Do your homework and don't get fooled by cheap alternatives.
Our Stage 2 kit pulls 4730 m3/h at 0 pressure. Yes, it will fit the Mazdaspeed Miata.

For non-crossflow radiators only. There's a special kit for crossflow radiators.

Great Product With Outstanding Support!
Simple, straightforward installation on my MSM equipped with a Koyorad aluminum radiator.

A call to FM to verify the wiring for my MS3 PNP was handled by Eric within a minute. His easy 2-wire solution and a reminder to enable the PWM2 channel with my choice of a threshold temp were the only mods required.

I'm looking forward to lower temps and quicker laps during my next track day.

Thanks FM!

Well, let me first say i have a new stock radiator in my msm. Also the parts and the fit and finish are absolutely perfect. After resealing my engine, i finally got around to wiring my stage 2 fan kit up. Started the car and let it get up to operation temp.

Took anout 20 min for the fans to kick on but when they did it was amazing they are very audible but i didn't mind that. I put my hand in front of the spal fan on the passengerside and the air was literally very very hot to the touch. It was extracting heat like i couldn't believe. And the driver fan was moving air much cooler. I also noticed that the fans dont stay on as ling as the factory units. Because the spal units are just moving so much more air.

I read multiple users had a problem with a voltage drop. So i contacted a few places and found a 90amp altenator at napa and swapped out my oem 80amp. Now the voltage drop is barely noticeable.

Top notch product. You can tell flyin miata is very proud of what they make, test and sell. Id buy it a thousand more times! Great job FM!
