Want to build your own turbo system? Here's the start you need: the solid and proven FM turbo manifold, outlet casting and downpipe. Shop around, and you'll find this is the best deal going.
The downpipe is CNC-bent stainless steel with bungs for both the stock O2 sensor and a wideband. Like all our other downpipes, it has a lifetime warranty. The 2.5" downpipe will bolt to a standard Miata midpipe flange, the 3" one uses a different flange and will either require a custom exhaust or our Flyin' Miata 3" unit. The 3" exhaust upgrade includes a full exhaust system right to the tailpipe.
The manifold and outlet are the same ones we've used on 450 rwhp turbo Miatas. They're cast and machined in the US for the highest quality and consistency, and are designed to fit turbos with a T2/T25 flange. Older sleeve bearing turbos will require a couple of holes in the outlet to be enlarged.
Inconel studs are standard to give the best reliability under hard track use.
No EGR pipe is included on 1.8 manifolds although the manifolds are machined for a fitting. Factory 1999-00 EGR pipes can be used on any NB. If you're not going to use it, we carry a plug for the EGR.
Of course, it's compatible with any of our other turbo parts. Hard water and oil lines? An intake setup? A complete intercooler system? Heck, we can even supply the turbo if you'd like.
Note for automatic cars: the downpipe will need modification to clear the bellhousing on an NB automatic. You will also have to use one of our midpipes in this case.
