Mazda MX-5 Miata: Find It, Fix It, Trick It
Miata 101! This one`s more of a reference book, covering the history and development of the car, annual changes and full data sheets along with a buyer`s guide. A good book if you`re getting started on the car.

Made in the USA

Shipping note: When ordered by itself, this book will be mailed via USPS.

Find it, Fix it, Trick it has a cheesy title but a lot of good information. It`s basically "Miata 101" and covers all Miatas from 1990 to 2005, including the Mazdaspeed turbo.

The car`s history and evolution from in-house design study to the turbocharged Mazdaspeed is covered, along with a spotter`s guide full of annual changes. Full dimensions and performance specs, sources for parts and an overview of the culture surrounding the Miata and motorsports are also included. 160 pages, nearly 400 photographs.

There are also a number of projects aimed at maintaining and upgrading Miatas. The book includes information on how to select and install a turbo or supercharger system, wheel/tire upgrades, suspension modifications and the like. It also has projects to help a new owner get a new, used Miata into top shape.

How does it compare to the other books?
Performance Projects is all about working on the car, and covers a wider range of projects. It`s the hands-on, how to book.
How To Build a High Performance Miata is the technical volume. It will teach you how everything works, the theory behind it and how to select parts and tune the car to reach your goals.
Find it, Fix it, Trick it has more information about the car itself and is more of a reference book. If you`re just getting started with Miatas or looking to buy one, this is where you want to start.
Keith thinks that all Miata enthusiasts should have one of each!

This is my Miata Bible and I use it regularly.
I bought this right after I bought my NB2 seven years ago and it has been my "bible" for learning and troubleshooting. I have other Miata books that I've read once and put on the shelf. This book is well worn with my notes and highliter on at least 50% of the pages. If you only have one Miata book and you are at least an amateur DIY person, this is the one to have. I can't say enough good things about it. On the negative side, it could have been edited better by the publisher because there are some duplicate pages in it. I highly recommend this book.
