Flyin' Miata V8 dual exhaust system, NA, no headers: 3 in stock
Flyin' Miata V8 exhaust, NC, no headers : 5 in stock

This is the exhaust we designed for our V8 conversions. It's a true dual exhaust setup that uses a custom-made muffler that is effectively a pair of mufflers with an internal crossover pipe. It includes two high-flow catalytic converters that will keep OBD-II systems and emissions testers happy without a cost in output.

This kit does not include headers.

As with all of our exhaust systems, this is bent out of stainless steel using a CNC bender for minimal welds and maximum accuracy. The entire system is made of stainless steel and carries a lifetime warranty. The cats have a 5 year/50,000 mile warranty on the shell and a 25,000 mile warranty on their emissions ability.  Please note that we cannot ship this product to California as the cats are not CARB approved.

Available for NA, using the V8Roadster subframes and built to clear the CTS-V Getrag diff. Also available for the NC using the Camaro AAM diff. They may clear other applications as well, but that's for you to work out. We also have an ND version that is listed separately. Our NB variant is not currently available.

Exhaust jewelry!
I completed the installation process yesterday of exhaust system supplied by Flyin’ Miata. In short, it was fantastic.
In more detail, I assembled the whole system outside of the car and rolled it under on furniture dollies. Next, I hung the muffler on it’s hangers and moved forward to connect the hanger at the transmission and finally connected the strap clamps onto the headers.
The biggest challenge I encountered was getting the system hanger bracket into place under the transmission mount. That was time consuming and necessitated the removal on the preload plate. I hope I won’t regret that later.
Obviously, there was some twisting of segments to achieve clearance, such as on the passenger side at the rear of the T56, which is very tight, but otherwise was just time consuming, not difficult.
The one hiccough I had was stripping the t-bolt on one of the band clamps. They are stainless, which is nice for appearance and longevity but they aren’t very rugged. I’ll replace it when the car is running and driving if and when it becomes a problem.
The welds of this system are consistent and beautiful and are worthy of jewelry status.
I’m very pleased.
