The shock mounts in the NB are made of solid steel, so they'll last the life of the car. The bushings that go on the shock shaft, however, should be replaced as they age. The rubber deteriorates over time. We recommend changing them whenever you change shocks. Unless you're the sort of person that changes shocks like some people change socks.

These new bushings are duplicates of the factory Mazda parts, but you'll find they're thicker than your old, worn ones. You may have to squeeze a bit to get everything assembled - that's how Mazda designed it.

This kit includes four upper and four lower bushings. That's enough for one car. Mazda equivalent part numbers are NC10-28-775 and NC10-28-776. Included in our NB shock conversion kit as well as the NA versions of our V-Maxx and Fox suspension.

Awesome for the price

Car seems to feel better after installing these. 2001 NB with 205k miles. I installed these into a set of Mazdaspeed coilovers. I dont know how old the coilovers are but the old bushings where pretty squished.
For the price, these are such an awesome upgrade. Best performance per dollar I have ever put into it. They are OEM mazda so they are good stuff.

Big improvement in ride quality

Probably my third favorite bushing change, after Mazdaspeed motor and differential bushings. Car is an ‘02 with only 83k miles and 11k on OEM Mazda replacement shocks. It was a kidney shaker when I got it home (I’m 50, this is for my kid, and the previous owner had 16” rims and tires at 35psi). These were FAR easier to change than the other bushings. I also put FC comfort bump stops in, even though the originals were like new. Rides like a new car now. Seriously. Original bushings were squashed and rotted, and the dealer that installed the new shocks must have torqued them with an impact. I recommend new spring isolators too, which I will be pulling everything again for.

A MUST if you're replacing shocks!

I've been putting off installing on my VMaxx XXtreme's until I could get these. I'm glad I waited! The bushings that came out of my old 136k mile shocks were pancaked and dry rotting. I would have hated having to reuse those in my brand new coilovers. All genuine Mazda parts so you know you're getting quality!
