Built specifically for V8 conversions, this bar has an extra couple of bends that gives 3/8" more clearance for the crank pulley. That may not sound like much, but it's enough to clear a Corvette front damper. 1" diameter, solid for the NA/NB versions and tubular with a 0.156" wall for the NC.
Please note that this bar was designed to clear the Corvette or CTS-V belt alignment that we use on our builds. If you are running the bulkier F-body or truck belt setup, it will not work. It's also designed for the same "rear mount" engine location that we use, if you have a different engine location you may have difficulties.
The ND version requires our modified front subframe.
The NA8 version may be used on a 1990-93 chassis if the sway bar mounts are moved forward to the 1.8 position. Front bar only, includes polyurethane sway bar bushings.
