A smooth dark center with a crisp machined outer lip. Mmmm.

Exclusive to Flyin' Miata

Availability: In stock

We saw the new Beryllium color of the 6UL, and said "there's one thing that would make that better". So we arranged for a custom run of Beryllium wheels with a machined lip. Yes, it's a bit old-school. But the classics just don't age.
This is a limited production wheel. When they're gone, they're gone!

The wheel is A356.2 T-6 aluminum, flow formed under 10 million tons of pressure for maximum strength. It's almost like a forged wheel, but without the eye-watering price tag. Rated for 500 kg. JWL and VIA certified.

This fitment was designed for the ND chassis. The bolt pattern matches that of the NA and NB but they do not fit those cars.

This 17x9 weighs a mere 15.9 lbs and has a 67.1mm center bore. Recommended tires are 225/40-17 and 235/40-17. No body modifications are required regardless of ride height. A 245/40-17 can also be used, but may require slight rolling of the rear fenders depending on alignment and tire choice. +45mm offset.

Valves are not included, and 6ULs require two per wheel. Why? So you can check pressure on one while you fill on the other.

These clear all of our brake options.

Please note that we cannot ship these wheels to the UK or the European Union.

The right amount of zing without an overtly large amount of bling!
I purchased these wheels and had them waiting for me with tires upon arrival at the 2016 Summer Camp event and was I ever impressed with the look. As much as I'd hoped for and then some. Having seen photos of "the other guy's" Beryllium wheels, Flyin' Miata made the right call in having a bespoke run of Beryllium LE wheels made with the polished lip. Perfect for those that want to stand out while being subtle about it.

The stability afforded by the 9" width is hugely confidence inspiring; both on the road and track. Don't believe me, read Sam Smith's take from the 2016 Miatas at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca event here: http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a32131/miatas-at-mazda-raceway-miatagasm-mega-test/

My car is commented on as Car #3, as well as in the review of Car #8 and again at the conclusion of the article.
