Miata driveshafts aren't designed to be rebuildable. Over time, the universal joints will develop a flat spot that can eventually cause vibration problems. Some driveshaft shops claim to be able to replace these joints, with varying levels of success.

This is a brand new driveshaft with universal joints that are designed to be easily replaced, even at home. Steel construction, made to the same dimensions as stock. Since Miatas don't break driveshafts, we didn't feel the need to go with a more expensive solution. Dynamically balanced.

Fits 1990-93 manual and automatic cars.

Worth every penny
I needed a replacement driveshaft since my ujoints went bad. Opted for this shipping was faster than I thought it would be and the quality is as good if not better especially with the bigger ujoints. 10/10 would buy again and recommend to every Miata owner out there

Excellent quality driveshaft. Much beefier than oem, I believe this is 2.75" opposed to 2.35" or so. The serviceable u-joints are thicker as well, and were buttery smooth out of the box.
Shipping was very quick (and free!) packaging was nice and tight, and it arrived with zero blemishes.
I was able to install it without removing my exhaust or adjusting my ppf but it took some time to maneuver it into place.
10/10 would recommend.
