As you may know, Bill Cardell started a company called The Dealer Alternative in New Jersey, doing Porsche/Audi/VW repair. He started selling Miata parts in the early 90's and that part of the business grew into Flyin' Miata.

Seth Goodwin, one of Bill's good friends and valued employees at The Dealer Alternative bought the business when Bill moved out to Colorado and separated the Miata business from the repair shop. Bill and Seth have remained close, and The Dealer Alternative has been an excellent resource for Porsche and Miata owners in the area for years.

Seth was involved in a motorcycle accident and suffered a blood clot in his brain (nobody knows for sure whether the clot caused the accident or the accident caused the clot). He has been in a coma ever since the accident. Seth's wife Carla worked with him at The Dealer Alternative, so with the business closed they have no income at all, not to mention the impending medical bills which will not all be covered by insurance. Since Seth was such a part of the Porsche and Miata communities, we're giving Miata owners the option of donating to help out Seth, his wife Carla and their daughter Gianna.
