RTLink

Created by Stan Mahaffey, RTLink brings real time display to the Link ECU. It displays the current zone, engine temperature, fine- and coarse-tuning status and a number of other parameters. It makes noises to tell you if you're in the middle of a zone, if a zone is tuned or if you're getting knock. It'll replay existing data logs either in real time or at high speed. It's been designed to integrate smoothly with Data Log Lab. It comes with exhaustive documentation. The best news of all? It's free!

Version 1.4.0 is now available.

Download RTLink

Windows software compatible with all plug-in Link ECUs for the 1990-97 models. Not compatible with the piggyback Link used in our 1999-05 turbo kits.

Some of the new features of RTLink version 1.4.0 include:

  • A single grid for both fuel and ignition data.
  • 13 bar graphs and 44 readouts to monitor a variety of sensors and engine parameters.
  • Options for Celsius/Fahrenheit and kPa/PSI.
  • Support for a 2x20 character LCD display.
  • Support for 2D Accelerometer and EGT logging.
  • Comma separated value (CSV) output files usable with DLL 1.5.5, Excel, etc.
You may need to upgrade your ECU firmware to use the L4 and wideband O2 monitoring features.

RTLink 1.4.0 will work with DLL 1.4 6 as before, no problem. DLL users will need to upgrade to version 1.5.5 to display the Accelerometer and EGT data captured by RTLink.

The zip file contains all the programs, data converters, and WBO2 translation tables you need to install RTLink. Included this time are some example files you can replay to test RTLink’s features on your PC.
