Why buy a Flyin' Miata supercharger system?
Our turbo and supercharger systems share one characteristic: they're systems. They include proper engine management as well as all the parts you'll need to install them. They're also designed to be easily upgradable, as we know that it's not always possible to start off with the top of the line setup. Hardware Of course, the end result depends on manufacture as well as design. All parts are CNC milled or laser cut and TIG welded for the best quality available. It's almost a shame that it isn't all visible when installed. The blower itself is the same sort used by major manufacturers, and has a lifespan of 100,000 miles without any maintenance. Under cruise and vacuum, the built-in bypass opens up to control blower temperature and improve efficiency. This means the effect on your cruising fuel economy is minimal. We can't promise anything if you spend all your time with the throttle pinned, of course! Software Be careful - other vendors don't necessarily include any sort of engine management at all in their kits. Read their fine print carefully! Upgrading Support Flyin' Miata has been dealing with Miatas for as long as there have been Miatas, and we've had forced induction on our cars all that time. We're still driving our own little red Miata that we turbocharged in January of 1990. We've sold and installed almost every other supercharger kit on the market over the years, from the original Sebring supercharger to the defunct Ubercharger. We drive supercharged Miatas every day. Nobody else has this depth of experience to offer, and it shows when you call us for help or advice. |
