Flyin' Miata : Supertuner Challenge

For the past two years, Car and Driver has run the "Supertuner Challenge". It's a hunt for the highest-performance street car around. Participation is invitation-only - and in 2003, Flyin' Miata got a call to enter. A difference from previous Challenges is the format. This year, it was limited to four-cylinder cars and the top speed will be 130 mph so the tuners have to do more than just build a massive 8.0l engine as in the past.

Mazda believes we can represent the Miata community well. They've given us a car to start from. A big thanks goes out to Dean Parsons for the help in making this happen! It's been named "Elvis". Because Elvis is the King! And because it's easy to remember.
