Suspension and wheels
Handling is a strong point in the Miata, and we are making it stronger.

In reverse chronological order:

Finally! The shocks are in! 650 ft/inch spring rates on the front, 350 on the rear.
The dash is in, the rear of the roll cage is bolted down and the Wilwood calipers have been installed on the rear.
We're running a power steering rack with no assist for fast response.
The shocks! (oooOOOOooo.) Custom-built Advance Design shocks with titanium internals, these are about half the weight of stock shocks. Heim joints at the bottom, adjustable for compression and rebound - and check out the range of height adjustment! Springs are currently 700 ft/inch front, 600 rear.
Posing with the new wheels.
Our new rubber arrived. Custom SSR Competition wheels with Goodyear Eagle slicks.
The new Powerflex polyurethane bushings.
Keith takes off the front sway bar mounting points. They looked heavy.
All the control arms are removed in preparation for new bushings.
Oh no, the control arms all fell out of the suspension!
