Flyin' Miata does the Open Track Challenge!

The OTC is an
endurance-style time trial event that hops from
track to track throughout the west coast over a week. Teams will lap a track
with a transponder on their car until they're happy or time is up, then move on
to the next. The fastest 3 laps count. Simple. Flyin' Miata took part in the
inaugural 2002 event, and went back for 2003.
For those who missed it the first time,
here's the article that appeared in Grassroots Motorsports about Flyin'
Miata's 2002 OTC race. Sept 2002.

We built the Flyin' Miata "Track Dog" for this event. It's our

2002 result:
Second in class. A decent start, and the Track Dog proved to be highly
reliable. While the car is very fast, we're already working on making it faster!
