How do I get there?
Flyin' Miata
From Interstate 70, westbound
- Get off Exit 37 – (the sign reads "70 to 6",
"Clifton", "Grand Junction", "To 50 South, Delta,
Montrose")
- Exit ramp leads onto Business 70 West
- Drive approximately 2.5 miles and bear left at the fork to stay on Business
70 West
- Drive approximately 3 miles to 13th Street
- Turn left onto 13th Street
- Turn right into the first driveway. Flyin’ Miata is in the tan,
one-story building.
From Interstate 70, eastbound
Get off Exit 31 – (the sign reads "Horizon Drive", "Walker
Field Airport", "Mesa State College")
- Turn right off exit ramp onto Horizon Drive
- Go straight through light at G Road
- Go around the circle to 12th Street (3rd turn off)
- Cross Patterson Road (aka F Road), Orchard Ave, North Ave, Grand Ave and Ute
Avenue
- Turn left onto Pitkin Avenue
- Go one block, turn left on 13th Street
- Turn left into 1st driveway. Flyin’ Miata is in the tan,
one-story building.
From Route 50 Northbound
- Take Route 50 to Pitkin
Note: Route 50 becomes "5th" Street" at the
intersection of Route 50 and Pitkin
- Turn right onto Pitkin Avenue (one-way, Eastbound)
- Turn left onto 13th Street
- Turn left into the first driveway. Flyin’ Miata is in the tan,
one-story building.
From Route 141 Northbound
- Turn left onto Route 50 at intersection of Routes 141 and 50
Note: Route 50 becomes "5th" Street" at the
intersection of Route 50 and Pitkin
- Turn right onto Pitkin Avenue (one-way, Eastbound)
- Turn left onto 13th Street
- Turn left into the first driveway. Flyin’ Miata is in the tan,

From Flyin’ Miata
- Turn left onto 13th Street (from our parking lot)
- Turn left onto Ute Avenue (one-way, Westbound)
- Turn right on 2nd Street (Mesa Pawn & Loan on corner)
- Cross Ute Avenue
- Go around circle to entrance of Convention Center (3rd turn off)
From Hampton Inn
- Go one block east to 2nd St.
- GJ Convention Center is next door to the Hampton Inn.
To the Palisade Peach Festival Parade Lineup
From Flyin’ Miata
- Turn right onto 13th Street (from our parking lot)
- Turn left onto Pitkin Avenue (one-way, Eastbound--Pitkin becomes I-70
Business Loop)
- Go approximately 5 miles
- Get in right lane after passing Checker & Taco Bell and follow
signs to East 6, Clifton, Palisade
- Turn right onto East 6
- Drive approximately 7 miles (road becomes 8th Street in
Palisade)
- Turn left on Elberta Avenue (between Palisade Pharmacy & Palisades
Bank)
- Cross railroad tracks
- Turn right on West 1st Street
- Drive to the end of West 1st Street
- Turn right on Bower Avenue
- Turn left into parking lot between yellow house (#121) and Freight Damaged
Furniture
From Interstate 70, Eastbound
- Get off Exit 42 – Palisade
- Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Elberta Avenue
- Cross the railroad tracks
- Turn left onto West 5th Street
- Turn left onto Iowa Street
- Turn left onto Kluge Street
- Turn right into lot behind Palisade Lawn & Garden (lot parallels
railroad tracks)
To GJ Motor Speedway
From Flyin' Miata:
- Turn right onto 13th Street (from our parking lot)
- Turn left onto Pitkin Avenue (one-way, Eastbound--Pitkin becomes I-70 Business Loop)
- Turn left onto 28 Road
- Cross North Avenue
- Road becomes "Orchard Avenue" after bend in road
- Turn left at first light onto 28 ¼ Road
- Turn right at light onto F Road
- Turn left onto 29 Road
- Bear left at fork (the road bends here and intersects with 29 Road)
- Cross Interstate 70
- On overpass, turn right onto Interstate access road
Note: this road turns to gravel
- Continue on the gravel road to the racetrack (hidden from the Interstate by hay bales)
From Interstate 70, Westbound

To Colorado Monument (Grand Junction/Redlands entrance)
NOTE: Driving through the Colorado Monument is like driving through a mini version of the Grand Canyon!
From Flyin' Miata
- Turn left onto 13th Street (from our parking lot)
- Turn left onto Ute Avenue (one-way, Westbound)
- After the road bends, get into the left lane
- Make a hard left on Grand Avenue (there is a Conoco gas station on each corner)
- You may see the directional sign reading"Hwy 340 and Colorado Monument"
- Go approximately one mile
- Turn left at 2nd light (road is "Monument Road" on left and "Power Road" on right)
- Go approximately 3 miles to the Colorado National Monument entrance
From Horizon Drive
- Head South to the "12th Street roundabout" aka the 12th Street circle
- Go around traffic circle and exit at 3rd right onto 12th Street
- Cross Patterson Road, Orchard Avenue, North Avenue
- Turn right on Grand Avenue
- Cross 1st Street onto Hwy 340
- Go approximately one mile
- Turn left at 2nd light (road is "Monument Road" on left and "Power Road" on right)
- Go approximately 3 miles to the Colorado National Monument entrance
From Colorado Monument (in Fruita)
To Flyin' Miata
- At "T" intersection, turn right
- Go approximately 11 miles
- Turn right on 1st Street
- After a few blocks, 1st Street will become Pitkin Avenue
- Turn left onto 13th Street
- Turn left into 1st driveway. Flyin' Miata is in the steel, one-story building.
To Horizon Drive
- At "T" intersection, turn left
- Go approximately 2 ½ miles
- Turn right onto Interstate 70 East
- Get off exit 31 (Horizon Drive)
- Turn right to head toward 12th Street and Flyin' Miata
- Turn left to head toward airport
