Mazda MX-5 Miata: Find It, Fix It, Trick It

The latest Miata book from FM's own Keith Tanner. Find it, Fix it, Trick it has a cheesy title but a lot of good information. It's basically "Miata 101" and covers all Miatas from 1990 to 2005, including the Mazdaspeed turbo.

The car's history and evolution from in-house design study to the turbocharged Mazdaspeed is covered, along with a spotter's guide full of annual changes. Full dimensions and performance specs, sources for parts and an overview of the culture surrounding the Miata and motorsports are also included.

There are also a number of projects aimed at maintaining and upgrading Miatas. The book includes information on how to select and install a turbo or supercharger system, wheel/tire upgrades, suspension modifications and the like. It also has projects to help a new owner get a new, used Miata into top shape.

How does it compare to Performance Projects? The two books are intended to complement each other. Performance Projects is all about working on the car, and covers a wider range of projects. Find it, Fix it, Trick it has more information about the car itself and more theory in the projects. Keith thinks that all Miata enthusiasts should have one of each! 160 pages, nearly 400 photographs. More information at FindFixTrickMiata.com.
