The stock gauge hood is usually great until you try to remove it. They're notoriously brittle, and will break the tabs off easily. Fortunately, we have a solution! This gauge hood from Classic Gold is built to OE specifications and is available at much lower price than the Mazda version. Better than OEM.

Fit perfect

Replaced the old broken one held on with tape. Looks much better, now too clean up the rest of the interior.

Wish I could give 5 stars

Received my reproduction hood for my 94 Miata and overall quality looks good , though unfortunately mine came with two noticeable scratches on the left and right sides. Since it was meant to replace my original 30+ year old hood, due to the defects unfortunately doesn’t end up looking much better. For the price , wish the manufacturer had better quality control.

Sorry about the scratches, David! Unfortunately, we have discovered a few of the gauge hoods that are like this straight out of the box, and we're now working with our supplier to utilize more packaging to better protect these gauge hoods while in transit.
